2. Hosting and technical access data
We use Hostinger to host devontra.de. Accessing the website involves processing technically necessary data. This may include your IP address, access date and time, requested file or page, amount of data transferred, status message, browser, operating system and the previously visited page.
This processing serves to deliver the website, keep it secure, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure operation of the website.
Recipients include Hostinger and the technical service providers used to deliver the website. Technical logs are processed only for as long as necessary for these purposes. Where a specific security incident occurs, relevant data may be needed for longer to investigate it or pursue legal claims.
Information about processing by Hostinger and its subprocessors is available in the Hostinger privacy policy and the data processing addendum. Where service providers process data outside the European Economic Area, the requirements of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR apply, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards including EU standard contractual clauses.
3. Contact form, email and phone
When you contact us, we process the details you provide. The contact form collects your name, email address, message and selected area of interest. You may also provide your company and phone number. Inquiries from the DeviBot, DeviNote or DeviCal product pages also include the product name and originating page address so we can route the inquiry. Technical transmission data may also be processed.
We use these details to handle your inquiry, respond to you and, where applicable, prepare or perform a contract. Form data is submitted to the Devontra form endpoint. This does not result in its use for advertising.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to a contract. Other inquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is handling business correspondence. Where separate consent is required, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis.
Recipients may include people authorised to handle the inquiry and technical hosting and communication providers. Details are deleted when the inquiry is fully resolved and there are no further grounds for retention. Statutory retention requirements and retention necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims remain unaffected. Required details allow us to identify and respond to your inquiry; the form cannot be submitted without them.
4. Local storage and colour mode
The website uses browser local storage to save the light or dark colour-mode setting under the key devontra-theme . This information stays in your browser and is not used for advertising or a usage profile.
Storage for the requested display function is based on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Where personal data is processed, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR is the basis; our interest is a consistent, user-friendly display. You can delete the entry through your browser’s website-data settings. Otherwise, it remains until deleted or overwritten.
5. Analytics, chatbot and embedded content
The homepage includes the DeviBot website chatbot. The widget loads from app.devibot.de and uses the api.devibot.de endpoint. Loading the widget creates technical connection data. When you use the chat, your inputs are transmitted to the chatbot endpoint. Please do not submit sensitive or confidential information in the chat.
